At the Heart of It All
Born in New Zealand, nature is where we feel most at home.
We believe the best moments happen outdoors.
Barefoot on the grass.
Salt in our hair.
Golden light stretching across linen blankets.
Laughter shared over fresh fruit and stories that wander.
We believe in slowing down.
In gathering with the people we love.
In exploring the world gently, leaving only footprints and taking memories.
Our pieces are handcrafted from natural fibres by skilled makers around the world, woven with care, tradition, and intention.
Because how something is made matters.
Who made it matters.
And the earth we wander on matters most.
Love in Wild Places is for folks who seek beauty in the simple moments.
Gather beautifully.
Wander gently.
Love wildly.
Born to Roam
I grew up barefoot on a farm on New Zealand's East Coast, in the Bay of Plenty, where the days were long and the land felt endless. As a kid, I was always outside, always roaming. Through native bush and hilly paddocks, down to empty beaches that felt like they belonged to us and nobody else. I didn't know it then, but those hours spent wandering, looking for the perfect spot to sit and stay a while, were shaping something deep in me.
My fondest memories have almost always been made in nature. Bare feet on warm earth. Golden afternoons that stretched on forever.
Love in Wild Places grew out of all of that. It is my ode to those moments, to the places that have held me, and to the feeling of being exactly where you're supposed to be.
This is not just a picnicware brand to me. It is a love letter to a way of life, to the people who still look up at a big open sky and feel something in their chest, who get a little teary-eyed over a dramatic sunset, who find their truest selves somewhere between the trees and the sea.
Everything we make and collect is for those people. You know who you are.
Here's to the wild ones,
