It was the perfect morning for a photoshoot at Point Wells. The sun was shining, the sky was a brilliant blue, and birds away in the trees. The air had that crisp, cool quality of early winter (what we call sweater weather) making it ideal for capturing relaxed moments.
We wanted this shoot to feel natural and unscripted, and Ruby, our muse for the day, was the perfect guide. As a local, she knew exactly where to find those picturesque hidden spots that most visitors never discover.
We started our morning at the Point Wells General Store, grabbing a coffee and Ruby's favourite snacks before heading out. From there, she took us out to the waterfront overlooking Whangateau Harbour and her favourite jetty. The view was absolutely incredible, the kind of backdrop that makes every shot feel so effortless (and breathtaking). Check out some of our favourite scenes from our mini shoot below.
